Motel 6-Kerrville, TX

There for a dog show. Grounds were clean, despite some lazy customers not picking up after their dogs. Room was clean. Bed was ok. Not great. Room was cleaned daily but employees with fresh towels and trash emptied. A coffee maker should be included in the room as the office is a separate building away from the motel. Office staff were quick to respond to 2 issues i had, air conditioning not working and fire alarm beeping. Impressed with their quick response and easy fixes. Biggest complaint… i am disabled and requested numerous times through their message system to have a first floor room. No elevator to the second floor and i can’t do stairs. They had no first floor room for me. Said they were full and couldn’t change me to a first floor room. I was on the second floor. Due to this I was going to go to another motel. Completely unacceptable as I sent 4 messages to the motel office prior to my stay. Being disabled needs to be taken seriously but motels like this particularly with no elevator. but a friend who was also staying there was kind enough to change rooms with me as she had a first floor room.

This was a surprising stay! I requested a ground floor room away from the stairs and ice machine and I got assigned to a room not only next to the stairs and ice machine but it was also next door to the laundry room. BUT, the nice young man at the front desk assured me it would be quiet for the night...and he was right. The entire complex was quiet all evening and night. The room had a good hot water shower flow. Sure, no breakfast offering but the price was excellent for a really clean and comfortable room. I would stay here again if in the area. Kudos to the employees at this motel for changing my perspective of Motel 6.

They were able to accommodate my mom, who needed a room on the floor level. They made sure to save my room when we were running very behind due to car trouble. They were very friendly and gave me recommendations of where to find the nearest restaurants.

The lady who checked us in was friendly, professional and competent. Check was completed quickly. Room and bathroom were clean, the bathroom had good water pressure and lots of hot water, heater/AC easy to operate and kept room at nice temperature (used heater function). Not fancy, but for one night stop over it is perfect with a reasonable price.

The room was spotless and well maintained - sometimes budget rooms are clean, yet distinctly worn. The bed was comfortable. For a budget motel, the grounds were pleasant. Staff were friendly. The air conditioner was adjustable and effective.
